To the man who has known me since I was 10 To the man who gave me my first hard liquor (Everclear & apple juice) To the man who brought me to Rocky drunk (see above) To the man who I would pay to see drown To the man who runs the best radio station in the Forest of Arden To the man who can make me laugh with "rutabaga" To the man who has seen me through my 2 major assholes (Steve & Ryan) and was there to laugh at me about them To the man who tried to sell me on South Street for 50 bucks as "Fresh White Meat (no longer fresh) To the man who didn't want to drink champagne and do aerobics at 2AM with a German exchange student To a great radio voice and fantastic actor
Yes, hylerj... it's your birthday and I'm giving you some birthday love!
Everyone raise their arms in Cuddle Position and send Jim a Big Birthday Cuddle!

Oh, Andy...
I found your video, you naughty man, right where you left it on YouTube. I love it when you get that masterful gleam in your eye, the way your glove caresses the whip, giving it a firm smack that sings to my soul... as only your hand can
The last time I saw you was at the Kathy Griffin show at Madison Square Garden. I paused near you in the exit hallway. Andy, you looked so pale. Are you working too hard, traveling the world, delivering your dire bulletins like the never-ending beat of doom?
You had a very cute young man with you who urged you to go backstage to see Kathy. I called out – "Oh, yes, you have to go. Kathy will be disappointed if you don't." You must remember me – I waved when you looked over.
BTW, I like your friend. I'd be happy to work him into our scene. (Call me.)

I adore and completely embrace this outlook on life:
"Anybody can throw on a plumed hat, say a few "arrr's" and label him or herself "pirate," but I learned the pirate you wear within, the "pirattitude", is far more important than the pirate gear you put on the outside. True pirattitude means living your life the way you want to, with no apologies. It means never having to keep up with the Joneses, or the Davy Joneses for that matter. It means not settling for the mundane. Having pirattitude means having the courage to question authority, and knocking it on its arse if that's what's called for. Pirattitude means living and loving passionately, having a zest and zeal for fun and appreciating the little things in life like a homegrown cherry tomato, a dog who misses you when you're away at sea, and rum. Pirattitude is seeing life for all its possibilities, grabbing the cannon by the balls and firing away into the unknown for the sheer adventure of living on the edge. Pirattitude means being free and living freely. And acquiring doubloons. And rum... Even without the corset, I am really a pirate because of who I am inside and what I so strongly and passionately believe in." Written so eloquently by Tori "Mad Sally" Baur, wife of John "Ol' Chumbucket" Baur (co-founder of International Talk Like A Pirate Day) |

| | thoughtful | ] | I've forgotten how much kids can be so obnoxious when a guest is in the room. I was visiting iwth George today and his classes are pretty riduculous. There are kids who are paranoid that I'm watching them and just observing their behavior. But at the same time there are a few kids who are doing what they need to do.
i've forgotten how cruel kids an be. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!
I don't understnad studnets and I thought I had it bad.. my kids are at least respectful...tho alot of that is what I demand. While more of my students are failing i don't put up wiht their shenanigans.. I love george but seriously these kids need to be put in their place. WTF!!!!
the senios were respectful.. the freshmen..ignorant as ever. |

| I'm sorry about your wife... |
[May. 15th, 2008|11:31 pm] |
Dear monsura
Your wife and I seem to be hooked on a word drug called Scramble on facebook. We can't help it. As soon as we are done 1 game, we immediately start another. Hell, we are doing two at once. We are addicted and we just enable each other. I'm afraid that this word drug is a gateway to other word drugs. One night we may experiment and try some Scrabble. Or maybe even switch it around and do hours of Trivial Pursuit. We need help. The other day I woke up after passing out in the gutter cuddling a Webster's Unabridged Dictionary with a strange librarian next to me.
Help us kick the word drug.
Love,

I think I mentioned a year or so ago when returning one of the University vans after a dance competition, I filled out the return form, and where it said "Please note any problems with the vehicle on the back," I put down, "Engine three has frequent flame outs, flux capacitor emits loud whine when engaged" and the like.
I find myself filling out requisition forms for flux capacitors, ion generators, variable phase inverters, and so on...
Allow me to reiterate: I have too much time on my hands...

I found out that he was going to be in Harrisburg on May 23rd doing his one man show "This Filthy World" and tickets were only $30 ($50 for the after party meet and greet).
Bob and I will be around there the same time.
Lots of tickets available.
Hmmmm....maybe...
If only Bob knew who he was...other than through Cry-baby. |

Forgiven
Couldn't save you from the start Love you so it hurts my soul Can you forgive me for trying again Your silence makes me hold my breath Time has passed you by Oh, for so long I've tried to shield you from the world Oh, you couldn't face the freedom on your own Here I am left in silence You gave up the fight You left me behind All that's done's forgiven You'll always be mine I know deep inside All that's done's forgiven I watched the clouds drifting away Still the sun can't warm my face I know it was destined to go wrong You were looking for the great escape To chase your demons away Oh, for so long I've tried to shield you from the world Oh, you couldn't face the freedom on your own And here I am left in silence You gave up the fight You left me behind All that's done's forgiven You'll always be mine I know deep inside All that's done's forgiven I've been so lost since you've gone Why not me before you? Why did fate deceive me? Everything turned out so wrong Why did you leave me in silence? You gave up the fight You left me behind All that's done's forgiven You'll always be mine I know deep inside All that's done's forgiven |

Court was postponed today. Classes are 33 min. long, and I don't want to be here.
All of the classes have given up doing work except for a few students. I got to focus on those students and don't care if the others pass or fail. I've called home numerous times to try to light a fire under the kids butts. I'm done.
No effort = no help from me.
4 more classes today.. actually teaching geometry and a little bit in algebra 1. whew.
so i have friday off as a personal day. yay me... im heading up to connecticut on thursday so i better get all of my lesson plans ready.
working on those now. |
